Welcome
Dear Third Graders,
Welcome to Highland Elementary and Classroom Twelve. I am your teacher, Ms. Johnson, and I am looking forward to meeting each of you on Friday, August 7, 2009.
This year, you will experience new adventures in your learning journey. We will be reading books, learning multiplication, studying maps, and even doing science experiments.
Because you have mastered the second grade, I know that we can master the third grade. This year, I expect the best from each of you. You each have qualities and characteristics that will make our classroom lively and complete. Without you, we will not function properly. So, we need of each of you in class EVERYDAY and ON TIME.
Thank you for making the commitment to being a part of our classroom community, and I am looking forward to a great year with you!
